The Scylla Alarm Hub is the centralized hub for managing and overseeing the entire Scylla AI security ecosystem. From a single, intuitive interface, security teams can manage all active AI Modules (e.g. Gun Detection, Face Recognition, Perimeter Intrusion Detection, etc.), connected hardware devices, and multiple sites. The alarm hub also includes comprehensive features for Alarm Management, allowing real-time handling of events; Reports & Business Intelligence (BI) for generating customizable analytics; and settings for managing integrations with third-party systems.

What are Scylla's deployment options?

Answer

Scylla offers flexible deployment models based on the AI module and integration of choice to suit different infrastructure and security needs, including on-premise, cloud, and edge deployments. ● On-Premise: For on-premise installations, the Scylla software is typically delivered pre-installed with the necessary hardware. Alternatively, it can be deployed and configured remotely by Scylla's technical support team. ● Cloud: For cloud deployment, a small connector software package is installed on the client's network. This software connects to the existing cameras and forwards the video streams to the corresponding cloud-hosted Scylla instances for analysis. ● Edge: Scylla also offers edge devices, such as the Scylla Asteria™, which perform AI analytics directly on the device, minimizing the need for servers or constant cloud connectivity.
